🛢️ Fork Oil Drained for International Shipping

Per international freight regulations, fork oil has been drained from both legs before shipping. This protects against customs delays, seal damage from pressure changes, and dangerous-goods classification.

Before installation, buyer must refill with correct fork oil:

• Refer to Kawasaki Z900 service manual for exact spec (typically 10W fork oil, ~470ml per leg)
• Bleed air from damper after refilling
• Verify oil level from top of fork tube with spring removed
• Have work performed by a qualified motorcycle technician

Installing these forks without proper oil refill will result in zero damping and is unsafe to ride. We recommend replacing fork seals at the same time as preventive maintenance.

🔧 Additional Recommendation: Seals and bushings on these forks are used. While they appear intact, replacing fork seals and dust seals when you refill the oil is industry-standard practice for used forks. Final torque check by your installer recommended after mounting.
