🔴 Required Before Installation — Professional Measurement Mandatory: Before installing, a qualified machinist MUST verify: (1) main journal diameter and roundness against Ducati service manual spec, (2) rod journal diameter and roundness, (3) crankshaft runout on V-blocks (max 0.04mm typical), (4) rod weight matching (both rods must be within the original Ducati weight class — check the letter stamp on each rod), (5) rod small-end and big-end bore condition. Install with new main bearings, new rod bearings, new thrust washers, and new rod bolts (Ducati rod bolts are torque-to-yield and must NOT be reused).
